Duck Island Radio is a station run by the students of the University of Lincoln. At first the station was created to boost the confidence of first year students, in this way the undergraduates were able to create shows which would be aired to the general public. These shows range from Christmas themed to healthy eating, in this way Duck Island attracts a wide range of listeners- which we take pride in.
Duck Island has since become a great success. We still air first-year student’s podcasts as we do not want to forget our roots, however we do have shows run by graduates in which attracts some of our biggest audiences. We value our own talent hugely and this is why we encourage our shows to stay on Duck Island and keep performing great shows!
